1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Burnmeter ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Burnmeter is a meeting cost analysis tool that helps teams understand the financial impact of their meetings. The Service integrates with Google Meet and Google Calendar to calculate meeting costs based on attendee information and salary data you provide.
3. Use of the Service
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
- Ensuring that salary and employee data you enter is handled in compliance with applicable employment and privacy laws
- Obtaining any necessary consent from employees before entering their compensation data into the Service
- All activity that occurs under your account
4. Google Integration
The Service uses Google OAuth for authentication and, where you grant permission, accesses your Google Calendar to import meeting data. We only request the minimum necessary permissions (read-only calendar access). You may revoke this access at any time via your Google Account settings.
5. Data and Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
6. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that cost calculations will be accurate for all use cases. Meeting cost estimates are informational only and should not be used as the sole basis for financial decisions.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Burnmeter and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
8. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made.
